what's it like having pure OCD?

with me it's very logistical, i can't stop overthinking about things in great details and have crippling sorta anxiety afterwards and feel like everything is just insurmountable.I just want to know what's it like for people who are clinically diagnosed with it ? cause i may not have it and i maybe have something else but it's something i can't shake off.

My personal brand of pure OCD tends to revolve around issues of fairness, consistency, and morality at a societal level (often focusing on times when people’s rights are in conflict with each other) and I tend to go over hypothetical scenarios over and over again in my head, trying to find a simple and logical way of addressing these conflicts. Although I do not have outward rituals (though I did in the past), I may find myself repeating phrases or images in my head, or cycling through a train of thought over and over trying to “solve” the problem so I don’t have to think about it any more. Obviously, the content of your thoughts will vary, but rumination seems to be a common behavior in pure OCD from what I’ve read.

Mine is clinically diagnosed. Sometimes I get OCD about time, germs, numbers, or religion. Really my OCD comes in cycles with different levels of severity. Sometimes I get small urges and just know it’s my OCD. There are times when I’m in hell with it and times where it’s just like ehh.
