Have him read the posts in this forum! He will most likely find someone who he can relate to

This is a tricky one but I would also urge him to join this group and know that recovery is possible. There are a lot of good stories out there about people who have won their lives back from OCD and while we shouldn’t seek to much reassurance because it can become a compulsion - it is nice to remind yourself from time to time that there are others out there who have overcome this.

Is he currently seeing a therapist who specializes in ERP? That’s the best place to start.

For me to keep out of depression and negativity i just keep making jokes and make others laugh

That kind of makes me stay happy and stay out of depression

You should do that and try make your husband happy all the time

Maybe that might work!
