Well life has to go on ....and so I have recently picked up further studies in counselling after15 years. Had just done 1 year and got Certificate. Now I am trying to complete the Advanced Diploma in Couple Counselling with Relate NW London as my placement centre and hope I can be of service to the MPD community some time in the future once I have acquired new skills, especially as it is difficult for some couples to continue relating and supporting their partner.

A big well done! I think concentrating on something else does take the mind off our current health problems. I am doing Children's Panel training and although really tired, I am enjoying it.

Hi Aime

As mentioned to Minee, I think that is brill.

I would love to do something similar, how do you get started?

I have ET and live in NW London!

Hi Sherry, I think the Children's Panel is in Scotland only I am afraid. I am now a fully trained member and I really enjoy helping the kids. Youth work is something else I used to love doing - I would think youth workers would be employed all over the country still. Good luck. Aime

I have now moved on and am doing Existential coaching.

It is a 2 years Masters training and I am now on my 2nd term. I just hope that I will be able to offer my services to MPD sometime as I will be now doing some practice this term.
