Hydroxyurea can cause skin issues, including rashes, dryness, scaling, hyperpigmentation. It is possible that what you are experiencing is related. It may also be unrelated. Suggest you have this checked out by a MPN Specialist and dermatologist.

hi Tilley_Rose

I am 63 and have been on Hydroxy for 10 years because I have PV JAC2+. I too suffer with acne and rosacea which makes my face extremely red and sore to the touch. I have tiny little spots as well. The rest of my body feels dry and rough as well but applying good moisturisers help. You can get help with the rosacea by asking your GP for some cream.

I just wanted to reassure you that spots on the face are quite normal and your not alone.
