swollen knee

I have a swollen knee. It came on all of a sudden yesterday (after a round of golf). No pain or stiffness. Dr Google says (I know, but I’m away at the moment and access to anything else is tricky) it could be a bleed in the joint. Has anyone experienced this? I am putting ice on, resting it as much as possible, and have just put a compression bandage on, as recommended by mentioned Dr Google. Any advice? I’m ET CALR 2 on peg interferon 45ml every second week and clopidogrel 75mg 3 times a week (I get a lot of bruising hence low dose) Thanks

Although I've never suffered with a swollen knee a friend of mine who fell and bashed her knee on the concrete was after an operation able to use a hydro pool for rehab. It was beneficial mentally and physically.

Interesting. 2 years before my platelets started to rise my elbow swelled up to twice normal size without any discoloration. I thought I’d been bitten by a poisonous spider. Soaked it in ice for a couple days and it went down. Never found out why and never happened again. I’m CALR 2 as well. Since you’re being treated now I don’t know why it would be your blood but it could be you had a clot. Since CALR is more at risk for bleeding it could be that but I’d think it would be bruised up too? Definitely check with your doctor.
