hello,

I’m on clopidogrel and aspirin third week post my op (I have aneurysm secured by stent)and as I was warned I’m bruising a lot but also have severe pain inside my arms ,at times.

It might sound a bit weird, but it’s like my bones rotted inside. Is anyone heard something similar?

Do you have an mpn? I can't see mention of one on your profile and wondered if you are on the right forum.

hi Jaggy123, so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this. It would be best to speak to the team who did the stent for you, and also to speak to your haematologist, it is best to find out what is causing this feeling, and get it sorted out. Best wishes, Maz

Hi Hidden,

Sorry to hear of your problem. In my case I take Clopidogrel to assist reduce the ‘platelet sludge’ in my arteries. Which in turn reduces the pain I experience in my quads when I walk. It’s been pretty effective for me but obviously I have to stop taking it about a week before any type of surgery to prevent bleeding.

Cheers and all the best, Tim
