just wanted some good vibes from all my MPN warriors out there. Monday I have a MRI to see what is happening with my MS. Prayers Besremi has helped and I am not potentially facing another medication. I have pretty much made my mind up I don’t want to take anything else for my MS right now. Want to see if Besremi will eventually work. I have no symptoms and feel great! Besremi is just so close to beta interferon and my labs just got controlled. Just praying for no change and I can maybe breathe for awhile! Thanks for all the support!
Monday MRI: just wanted some good vibes from all... - MPN Voice
Monday MRI
You will be in my thoughts going forward. I'm sure many of us share the concern over our treatment plans losing their efficacy - I certainly am. I can make myself ill worrying even though I know it accomplishes nothing. So please know we are wishing you good results and progress on your journey. Sending you much love and support.
Thank you. I have seen two of my patients this week that have MS and I took it as a sign. They all said they thought my decision was a good one. One of them brought me a Tshirt to wear! I am so blessed to have so much support! I was so looking forward to getting this over with! But in typical Texas weather I think Mother Nature is going to have other plans. Monday and Tuesday are calling for snow and ice! So, I think I am going to have to reschedule! I am going to probably push for April that will make it a year from my last one. I am going to take this as a sign from God.🙂. I am going to have a good outlook on this issue and see it as giving Besremi 3 more months to works it magic! Thank you, I wish you love and support too.
Prayers and good vibes coming your way!!! All the best to you - no more medications and continuing to feel great!
If I'm reading this right your saying your blood works looking good? You say no symptoms YEs!!! So sending positive thoughts across the pond for april. Here's hoping the weather doesn't get to.bad for you.
Thank you!!! My blood last time was looking good. And sending positive thoughts and prayers back to you from deep in the heart of Texas. I didn’t know the weather report til after my post this morning.
Whenever you have your MRI I wish you the best of luck. X
Hoping the imaging study goes well and that you get the results you're hoping for. Along with that, it's great that you're feeling well - hopefully that's an indication of your imaging results. Best of luck from NYC!
Thank you! I love it is postponed but hate it too! But Texas weather is so unpredictable. I really appreciate the support. All of us need to stick together through this journey, especially us young moms. I am about to be 42 as well with a little girl. We are all warriors in this journey of life! I appreciate the support from the Big Apple! Feel bad as soon as I posted this I saw the weather called for wintery mixed and hard freeze! And both the imaging place and neurologist are over 30-40 mins from where I live. So April it is! I will post again! Thanks for all the support. It is so appreciated!
Wishing you good luck !

You are not alone, best wishes to you for no new meds and continued good labs. Please take care and watch out for tricky weather.
Words can’t express how grateful I am for all of y’all! Weather threw me a curve ball! But looking at it as a positive sign. More time for medicine to work! Hugs and love to everyone!!!
Simply this:
Kick butt, take names....
That is all!!
Best,
PA
Hi KLCTJC, can I ask what kind MRI results are you waiting ? Brain and spine ? I m waiting result as well for that. Best of luck for us !!!
Over a year ago I found out I also have MS. I am a weirdo! Was able to find an old article about some people in the Netherlands they postulated that their MPN and the MS were related somehow. And my guess is they are but it is so rare unlikely anyone would ever look into it. Dr V at MD Anderson said in his career he had never seen it. But the fact that both are treated with interferon can’t be a coincidence. But gratefully I don’t have really any symptoms of either PV or MS. Now as my husband would say “I am a head case” about everything. I worry and stress! But I really feel well. And like many others on here know I have made up my mind no matter the MRI results I am not adding a medication right now. But still praying for no change! Now I will have it in April due to this weather!
Sending hugs from New Hampshire!
