This is from a Facebook MF site. The person (in the USA I think) is saying a drug is being developed in Australia that will attack CALR and ASLX1 - I have no idea whether it is true, be great if it is.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

Perhaps that is what is being referenced.

The short and very KISS explanation is that there is a difference in a protein found at the level of the cell wall with CALR mutated hematopoietic stem cells. This theoretically would allow the immune system to identify these mutated cells and target them for destruction. That is what this vaccine-based approach is about. Perhaps someone more up on this line of research can give a better explanation.

I’ve heard a little about it, if it’s Dr Hoffman from New York he is a serious player to be taken seriously, best bear in mind it’s a trial though. You could ask Clair Harrison about it, she will probably know.

The antibody you’re referring to just entered clinical trials here in the US. My hematologist at MD Anderson says it will take some time (years?) to go through all the trials but that it looks promising.
