I keep getting texts from the NHS asking me to get a booster, as they have no record of me having one - but I had one several weeks ago! I had a letter from the NHS informing me I needed a third dose and this was arranged via the NHS and I took the letter with me, which was taken note of ! Should I contact them to say I’ve had one?
Why don’t they know I’ve had a booster? - MPN Voice
Why don’t they know I’ve had a booster?
I too had this problem. I nagged my GP's surgery and got it recorded eventually.
It shows on my record as 'Booster' and I don't know whether the NHS app makes a distinction between Booster and 3rd primary - perhaps others here might know. I don't want to have to start nagging again in the coming months.
I have my 2nd Shingrix jab on Thursday so I can stir things up then.

Same thing happened to me and when I called the GP they told me that there was probably just as bit of a lag between systems
I’m also getting letters and texts telling me to get a booster. I went for a third dose with GP letter, but somehow it has been recorded as a second dose. My NHS app now only shows two doses, my first dose in February and my last dose in October. The second dose in May has disappeared! Even the Dr has recorded my third dose as a second dose on my notes. Don’t know whether this matters, who to contact, or whether to just leave it as it is for the time being.
There doesn’t seem to be any communication or coordination between any of the departments
Could be that the person who gave you your last jab didn't record it correctly online? When I got my 3rd (Pfizer full dose) I made sure she marked it on her computer as a third full dose, so that I will be called for my booster. She wasn't aware I was to get a third but still marked it accordingly after I explained.
It was noted it was a full 3rd dose! everybody on that session was on a third dose. I don't think there's any cross communication.
Hi I lizzziep I'm in the same boat . Had my booster early November , recently started getting texts and emails asking me to book a booster . I checked my GP vaccination record on Patient Access and it shows my records are up to date . I suppose it takes time for records to be updated .
