So I had the BMB yesterday and the procedure itself was not so bad. The medical facility I go to does many of these so the doctors and nurses are very experienced. Mine was done with conscious sedation and with the use of CT technology. The longest part of the procedure was the taking of pictures ahead of time. The biopsy itself went quickly and a pathologist was on had to evaluate the quality of the sample. Apparently it was easy to get a very good sample from me.
I was told that I will have the results in 3-5 days. I will wait for the phone call from my docotr rather than looking on the electronic record when it is posted.
I HUGE thank you to all who supported me through this. As my journey has just begun, I look forward to getting to know you in the coming years.
