Today I received an email from the NHS asking me to go for a further booster jab saying " Our records indicate that you have not been vaccinated yet this autumn or winter. It’s important you get a further dose now as your protection from previous vaccinations is now lower and will decline quicker than in other people".
However, I had my 5th vaccine on the 26th of September.
I'm a bit confused as I've got my vaccination card saying I had the Moderna jab in September but I thought that we only need a booster every six months, not three months.
I just wondered whether I need another booster, less than three months from the previous one, or their system is not as upto date as it should be.
Has anyone else had a similar email?
Best regards
Mark

I too have had 6 jabs (and a bout of Covid before I managed to get jab 6 done). So that is three primaries and three boosters. Happy to take whatever is offered. Since you only had your 5th booster in late September maybe get the 6th in the new year?
had 5th booster in Oct with absolutely no symptoms whatsoever. 4th booster made. E flulike for about 18 hours so I was delighted. I’ll go for 6 when they tell me to. No covid so far fir me or hubby. Knock on wood!
