Hey guys, roughly 11 months ago I posted in this group worried to death about my unspecified polycythemia diagnosis. You guys provided me with so much support during that time, even though I was a bit shy to respond to comments after a couple of days. Well, I was tested for the JAK2 gene which came back negative which was a huge relief. In December I underwent a fairly advanced septoplasty with and adenoidectomy and turbinoplasty. I had a follow up with me hematologist last week, and my hemoglobin/hemocrit levels were both much lower and finally within the normal spectrum. Again, thank you all for the support and encouraging words during my worry. It truly meant more than you know.
