Good Afternoon everyone, I have seen many post about getting Vit D. My good doc must have been well on the ball because several years ago after being diagnosed with PV she started me on 250mg per day of Vit D. Then two years ago she did a test and decided I wasn't getting enough so loaded me up 800 units(cant remember what the proper name is ) . So although we weren't aware of the importance of this vit, I am blessed having such an enthusiastic lady on my side. The visiting Haematologists hadn't thought about it

We're ok, hope you are. Looking forward to seeing family in person instead of via a screen in the not too distant future, fingers crossed. We lost one of our dogs just before Christmas which was an awful end to an awful year.

I'm hoping to get the vaccine soon, although my GP seems to be behind all the others in the area, so carrying on shielding until somebody releases us all back into the wild again. X

Ha ha! I like your expression “being released into the wild again”. We’re doing ok thanks just keep shielding and seeing our Great Granddaughter on screen from time to time. She’s 10 months now and a joy to see her crawling and getting into everything.

So sorry to hear about your dog. I know you said he was ill when we were last in contact.

We’ve had first jab of vaccine on 30th Dec but second was cancelled ....Gov. decision. No date for 2nd. Nice hearing from you. Keep in touch. Fran xx

Our granddaughter is now over 15 months old and is walking/running, she can get where water can't and is an expert climber! It's just a shame due to covid she hasn't been able to meet or play with any other children. She isn't talking yet but understands everything that is said and can make herself understood without talking . Her dad (my son) was a late talker so she's probably taking after him. Our other grandchild with our elder son is nearly 17, he is at college - well online college, we occasionally get to talk to him via technology when he visits his dad. Stay safe x
