Vaccine live or not

I've been hunting around and came across this on the MS Society website. Sorry I couldn't copy the link for some reason so I hope the screen shot is legible. The next section is quite interesting too.

So it seems that the Oxford vaccine does have a live "vector" virus to enable it to travel through our bodies but this vector virus is considered to be harmless. Hence the Oxford vaccine isn considered to be a "live" one as it isn't a weakened version of covid 19/ coronavirus?

That's my understanding, although it would be great to have confirmation from Prof Harrison or her colleagues when she has time.

Hi Otterfield, this question has been asked on other posts and the reply from Prof Harrison is that it is not live. Best wishes, Maz

Thanks Maz, there are (understandably) so many posts about the vaccine that I missed the info from Prof Harrison.
