I had a text yesterday asking me to book my covid vaccination, I had it this afternoon, only a couple of miles from home. While I was there I asked if my husband could have his, he's 2 years older than me and still hadn't been called. They said his GP's (different from mine) had done all the over 65's - not him they hadn't! So I wonder if they've missed any others? Anyway they squeezed him in, so we've both had it now (Pfizer) Very well organised, all staff/volunteers pleasant to deal with. I feel relieved to have got it done.

Good news you've both had it lizzie and was well organised , I'm going to ask if my wife can be put on a list at my local surgery vac centre in event of any left as she is the one taking most of our risk shopping and is my carer as such. Not that she wishes to queue jump but on the off chance as other folks partners that we know have been mopped up the same way. Nowt ventured nowt gained.

I guess some will slip through the net and I'm sure we'll hear more about it .

Apparently quite a few people hadn't turned up for their appointments. They didn't say what happened to the left overs, but as it was Pfizer it wasn't going to last long! My husband has been doing our shopping for the last year, which he hates! We try to get deliveries or click and collect but go to the butchers for our meat, and the local shop for milk and odd bits and pieces. I hope your wife can get it soon.

My Dad caught the virus and he was trundling only to his local convenience shop, butcher and post office all close by one another so good he's had it. I'm hoping my wife is lucky enough to catch a left over. Fingers crossed.

I am on the clinically extremely vulnerable list an are 68 ,still have not heard anything some one I know who is 70 had it then got another letter asking him to book his first jab !

And the asking my husband if he was there fir his , But unfortunately he wasn’t

Chatting on and they thought he was MY Carer

So funny Not lol

Anyway I mentioned he looks after his 82 year old father & next thing we knew the Nurse came to offer him it

To our delight he jumped at it x

So so greatful to all involved in this Mammoth Roll out of Vaccine’s 🙏

Could of been much worse Pam they could of said I'm sorry your son needs to wait outside 😃. My wife was out with her older by 11 years sister and someone said to her oo nice you're taking your mum out shopping! Something my wife never let's her forget if shes a bit off with her , , ,,now don't start 'mum' haha.
