1st let me thank you all for your time and efforts on this amazing site in helping us all.
Here is my Question. So far my only treatment for my PV has been phlebotomy and aspirin. My phlebotomy treatment are between 4 to 6 weeks. Acorrding to my Hematologist all has been good. However after my last phlebotomy headache has gone away still feeling somewhat dizzy? Don't know wether or not to worry or something that comes and goes?
PS does anyone else have typing issues on this site? Sometime won't allow me to type a word?

I understand you about typing, not your fault some computer thinking, keeps correcting your words, there's so many unknowns with having a mpn, dizzy spells is something I get when out cycling down hills,do you get letters with your blood counts, it is reassuring to me to look at the past year or so.
My advice would be to get your blood pressure checked.
When I was having regular 6 weekly venesections, on a couple of occasions I suffered extreme dizzy spells. I went to see my GP as an emergency appointment the first time it happened, and my blood pressure was dangerously low. It was fine straight after the venesection so I went home... an hour or two after I got home it started and didn't stop, it was especially bad after I stood up.
I'm on hydroxy now and touch wood haven't had a venesection since. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon.
Thank you very much. I have low blood pressure to begin with. I shall start taking it several days after my phlebotomy. Enjoy your summer and stay well!!
