Home bakes
That baking looks scrumptious! We rely on parcels from our daughter in U K with cakes and other goodies....Think I have said before,I do not bake!!!
You have a lucky family .Really fancy that chocolate creation.!xx
The chocolate creation is a no bake one. It’s just marg, sugar, condensed milk, syrup, crushed digestive biscuits, then topped with chocolate. I add cherries and sultanas but you could add cranberries, nuts or anything.
It’s probably 1,000 cals per bite but it keeps for about 2 weeks so you can ration it or try to!! I can post full recipe if you want.
Kindest regards Aime xx😻😻
Oh Aime that all looks fantastic , yummy in my tummy your grandchildren will be bouncing off the walls with delight

You can't beat home baked cakes, tray bakes , oaty biscuits, flapjacks etc I'm lucky because I can basically eat as much as I can with little or no weight gain ,
Inspired by your tremendous efforts of late Aime I might have a dabble but I'm no expert.

Hi Chris . Good to see you pop up....hope you and yours are all keeping safe and well.
Love Sandy xx👍🏻
Hi Sandy, , yes Kate and I are doing ok if not going a little stir crazy like many with this isolation and lockdown business. . All for the greater good though and to ease the burden on our already over stretched and over stressed front line NHS heroes / heroines.
My Graft Versus Host Disease remains active but low key affecting mainly eyes and mouth. But generally I'm in fairly good shape now, albeit not quite the man I used to be physically but I was always more Danny Devito than Arnold Schwarzenegger 😆. . .
All the best to you and your family too during this difficult time.
Regards - Chris x
Thank you Chris. Oh dear....Still battles for you to fight, my goodness you are a strong and brave Jedi . They can’t reject you now.
I know that all of us who have witnessed your journey over the past few years have such admiration and respect for you and Kate, you are certainly made of strong and inspirational stuff.
I am so totally in awe of the work our NHS are doing, I actually have tears when I think and see what they are doing in such a stoic and caring way. Having watched the clip of the work they are carrying out in intensive care, is utterly moving , they look so
exhausted . Also the families behind them must be so very concerned and worried about their loved ones.
This is certainly highlighting the amazing dedication of these very special people. How to thank them... Of course we go out and clap for them. BUT however can we repay them...
sorry going on a bit !
Please keep safe and strong
Very best wishes to you both
Sandy xx
I owe my life in part to their care and dedication. One night I had a very high temperature and the nurse tending me with ice packs along with Kate stayed on into the night well after her shift officially ended to ensure I got through it. Then walked with Kate over the hospital grounds back to her rooms. Words aren't nearly enough. .
As for the here and now I think a special medal is in order to honour their service and posthumous awards for those who sadly succumbed to this dreadful virus whilst trying to save others.
