Hemp oil and Hemp gummies sweets

Hi, I know there have been a few posts regarding the use of hemp oil and products containing it. My hubby has purchased some oil and sweets and I’m hesitant to take in case it affects my erythrocytosis. Any thoughts, knowledge from anyone? Many thanks, Aime 😻

Hi Aime, I don’t erythrocytosis but I take CBD products daily. I’ve read that it can affect my clotting in some way but for some reason my MPN specialist isn’t concerned. Maybe because I take the same amount each day. I started using it for arthritis in my hands but also find it helps calm my mind a little bit. Occasionally I’ll take a CBD gummy for stress. Of course you have to be very careful that it’s from a good company. The majority of companies sell it with other chemicals in it (not pure) & some with no CBD at all. My company is actually 3rd party tested (very important) and was screened by my doctor. Hope you find the answer you’re looking for. Katie.

Hi, do you find cbd products help with your arthritis? I have tried 3 or 4 but they didn’t help with pain relief or anxiety. Can you recommend a brand? Thanks, Lizzie

Hi. I use EBM Medical. My physician prescribes it. I have to take it consistently for it to work. And the cost is affected by how much your doctor charges even though it comes directly from the company. I switched doctors and saved $15 per bottle. It’s sublingual. It helps the arthritis in my hands but I can’t tell how much it helps it in my knees. I started taking it years ago before I noticed the arthritis in my knees. I’m in the US & not sure if it’s available where you are. Good luck. Katie

Thank you, I’m in the north of England. I wouldn’t be able to get it prescribed here but may be able to purchase it.

Hi. I use a brand called Wyld and find they work really well. I went through oils and different gummies, none of which helped much, but this brand seems to do something right. This is an American brand, but I did see it for sale on UK sites. It has helped tremendously with anxiety. I wasn't aware of just how anxious I was! I take one in the morning and one at night. My personal favorite is their pear flavor. Our local organic grocery can't keep it in stock.
