Another creation from gran!!

Hi guys, the chicken I made for my grandkids was on the previous weekend. This is a picture of my disastrous cake, which stuck, then fell to bits! It's only edible as a pudding but you can see by my grandkids faces, they still liked it! Thank goodness for icing, etc.xx😉😻😻

Looks like a result to me Aime in spite of your improvising and loving your little chicks . Two fine young Grandsons you got there to be proud of too.

It is a shame we can't celebrate in the usual way , we always have an egg hunt for our Grandkids and had been buying small choccy eggs etc in advance. . . . Ah well every cloud has a silver lining Mmmmmm. . , , 😉

Yeah Chris, the two cherubs Luke and Euan are good kids and like you and everyone else we are missing their hugs and cuddles but we are all well which is the main thing.xx 😻😻

A Rainbow cake....then it doesn't matter if they sink a bit,you stick them together with butter icing.....flowers on the top carefully crafted with icing.

Sandy, thank you for your kind words. I feel sorry for my daughter just now as she is on her own with the two cherubs who like to be on the go all day. She seems to be coping and I’m really proud of her. Her hubby comes back from offshore next week so that will be a help. We do bedtime on FaceTime every night, one at a time so each of the boys have their own time with us. I know I’m lucky to have grandkids and sometimes I’ve been shattered after their visits but all worthwhile - best job in the world being a granny!

She won’t come near us and any deliveries, like the chicken cake have been at night once the kids have gone to sleep and at arms length. But we are all healthy so very lucky.
