Sainsbury’s delivery slots

Hi everyone re posts about Sainsbury’s once I had registered on the GOV website last Sunday, I then had a text Thursday from Sainsbury’s saying I had been added to the vulnerable list.

Slots are still available for most days next week, even some left for tomorrow.

It might be worth logging out and back in again to update the Sainsbury’s app.

Hi Jonny

I also did this last week and found Sainsburys have been great and so helpful! I am sure this was after your recommendation earlier that week so thank you so much! Also booked my slot yesterday morning at 10.00am and before that had been staying up until midnight for morrisons which was unsuccessful still at times so definitely saves all the stress!

Hope you are keeping well and take care

Me too! I did have a great deal of trouble with the site, which kept on crashing, this meant I lost my first slot. Persevere with it if this happens too you. I would say add a few things in your trolley, checkout and then go back and keep adding, this would appear to keep your slot. However, I have got a slot for later this week. Good luck everyone and stay safe and well.

I also got the email from Sainsbury’s but all slots booked up for weeks ? Did you get a priority slot assigned to you or did log on to site as normal.! Got a very kind friend doing my shopping at the moment but would like the independence of doing my own.

Hi I have only had a text saying my account would be added in the next two days. So I kept checking and logged in and out a few times then slots appeared. Though sometime when I check nothing is showing so it’s worth doing a few times as it’s probably still a bit hit and miss.

Also worth filling your trolley in advance in case you see an available slot, or if you see a a slot book it then do your trolley. Good luck!

Cheers, will keep trying.

Just a reminder folks that it needs to be the account of the person on the Government list and not their partner’s account.

I received a letter from my hospital last Tuesday saying that I was classed as vulnerable and registered on the GOV site the following day.

I have tried to register with Sainsburys over the weekend and again this morning but get a message saying that they do not have me down as vulnerable.

Hopefully this is just a time lapse issue and I will hear from Sainsburys soon. Will be disappointed if I don't as we do the bulk of our shopping at Sainsburys.

Hopefully yes and maybe a post code lottery to start with? I’ve still not had a letter yet, but a friend spoke to our GP practice and they said they hadn’t sent any out.

I’ve also not had a letter from my hospital either though my GP are aware of my other underlying illnesses. Though my GP practice don’t really understand mpns like most people on here. Also they had been struggling with a merger before the pandemic and were impossible to deal with then and all I get now are shouty texts saying do not bother us.

At the moment I have family getting my shopping for me. Do you think I’ll still qualify for delivery.

I’m not sure my partner was doing the shopping so I ticked the relevant box, though the local shops she was going too are quite small and social distancing is pretty impossible. So any way we can reduce the risk of infection will help. Good luck!
