I have today spent all the morning trying to find out why I have not received the shielding letter being sent out by nhs. I have rang my haematologist’s secretary and she said that he has said to just social distance. This seems to be the complete opposite of what the list is saying and bloodwise say we should be on the list. I have also rang my gp and they say they have nothing to do with the list and to ring my haematologist. I am also suffering with cystitis at the moment and have started a course of antibiotics. I have an appointment next week and have to go to the hospitals main phlebotomy department and then go back after my telephone consultation to pick up my hydroxycarbamide. I feel very anxious to have to be amongst the public has anyone any thoughts on why we are not being given the correct information and just being given the runaround.

Please see this link.... your gp surgeries do have a part in the lists....
I was told by consultant to get in touch with gp. Gp said its NHS England and they are probably running behind in getting the letters out so it would seem the best thing to do is fill out the form on the government website ourselves because everyone else is just passing the buck.

I was sent a blood test form to get it done at my gp surgery instead of hospital, followed one week later by phone appointment and ruxolitinib sent to my Gp surgery to be collected from there.
