Dental surgery

Hi all, I'm supposed to be having dental surgery tom but not sure wwhether I shld be self isolating as I have Et jak2 positive and currently on hydroxy and aspirin? Any thoughts are advice please?

Hi, if you have a planned appointment with your dentist you need to speak with him/her.

As far as the ET and JAK2, there shouldn't be any problems, unless you have any other medical problems, but I guess you already have told the dentist in that case. We have not had anyone cancelling their appointment unless they have other reasons,so ring the practice and talk to the dentist.Don't worry too much.

I have an appt next month so rang surgery and they said I could still go at the moment but they wouldn't do a clean like I usually just have as they use pressurised air. But what about being in same waiting room as others and the dentist being exposed to your open mouth?! I should check with your surgery. Confusing isn't it? Keep well.

I was advised to cancel so have now x

Think I will cancel as in vulnerable category as I have high bp as well x
