Red face

Does anyone else get red in the face after working out? I have always worked out and never gotten red except for in the summer and it was 90 degrees. Now I get red in the face after doing a few sit ups. Wondered what caused it.

I become red in face. Always,but only after a hard workout in the gym

Thank you for your response. I don’t feel that warm but my face glows for several hours after even a mild workout. Never happened before I was diagnosed with ET .

As far as I know, red face is a typical feature of PV more than ET.

Yes, always. And very deep red lips.

I have red face permanently, which sometimes get worse after being outside in the cold, physical excursion and drinking alcohol

My face used to get bright red (almost purple) after exercising for several years prior to diagnosis with PV. After treatment (initially with venesections and aspirin, then with Pegasys), which brought my blood counts within normal levels, this no longer happens. Quite scary really to think of what I must have been putting my body through!

I always get a red face even after just doing some housework. I have PV.

I get very red face with any exertion including housework. I hate hot weather for the same reason
