Viruses on HU, what about Anagrelide?

Some of you mentioned getting infections while on HU (hydroxyurea, hydrea)

are people on Anagrelide getting more infections than they normally think they would?

Interesting timing, as just been to the doctor, after having mouth sores and ulcers and seems that they could be attributed to Anagrelide I was taking. Am also not a good advert for Hydroxy (leg ulcers and face sores.) Difficult to steer the right course. Always interested to hear of others' experiences. Wishing you well. Tinkerbell

I seem to go through phases with mouth sores. Luckily enough they are troublesome. I haven’t had an increase in them since being on anagrelide as well as hydroxi.

Meant to say are not troublesome.

Apart from fatigue I seem to be coping well so I suppose I should count my blessings.

I do hope you find a solution. To have ulcers on face and legs too must be mighty uncomfortable.

Thank you so much, wishing you well....told by lovely friendly pharmacist she thinks my immune system is very weak, which guess it is. Two people have strongly recommended olive leaf extract and wonder whether it could help you too. No worries re replying, just sending hugs and more! Tinkerbell
