Do you have experience of a blood disorder as a patient, carer, relative or friend?
Do you want to influence research into blood disorders in Sheffield?
Dr. Sally Thomas, the NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Haematology, Haematology Specialist Registrar in the University of Sheffield Medical School, would like to invite you to join a research focus group she is setting up in Sheffield.
You would be working in partnership with other patients, carers and researchers to provide advice on what impact research projects might have on patients, and to help design research projects that answer questions that are important to patients.
You do not need any experience, just a willingness to attend 3-4 meetings per year and give your perspective.
Please come to an informal meeting to hear more about what is involved, over tea, coffee and biscuits.
2.15 – 3.45 pm, Wednesday 17th July, Heritage Room, B Floor University of Sheffield Medical School, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Beech Hill Road, Sheffield, S10 2RX.
Travel and parking expenses will be reimbursed.
Please email sally.thomas3@sth.nhs.uk if you are planning to attend so that she can organise catering.
Please note: this is not a MPN Voice event so you cannot book to attend through MPN Voice or via this post, you must email Sally Thomas if you wish to attend.
