Is your cough a dry one? And does it happen mainly at certain times - like only in the morning? I’ve tried to find anywhere that says a cough is hydroxy or MPN-related but so far I haven’t had much success.
I had a bad cold 3 weeks ago and been left with a chesty cough. It’s all day long, I don’t normally get bad coughs.
Hi, I had the same and the doctor physician prescribed LONARID N. I took 6 pills one a day and stopped there as I had no results. But then the cough stopped so I didn't look further. I think Hydro had something to do with that as my immune system went beserk! The pharmacist also told me it stopped the cough although the leaflet inside doesn't say so. You can ask. I still cough when I go out in the cold or am very active.
Maybe a GP visit just to get checked over? Hope you feel better very soon.
Hi Wendycu, get some advice from your local pharmacist, they will be able to advise you on what you can take to help your cough, though it might also be wise to see your GP as well as you have had it for a few weeks. Maz
Sorry, I know I'm not GP or anything like but the day I discovered Kilkof (from your local discount store) was one of my best. Not an expectorant or full of nasty chemicals but the most effective cough relief I have ever come across. It even works against the cough caused by high blood pressure medication and is the only medicine I take to relieve this. Not going to break the bank either so worth a try. Hope this help. ATB
Have you tried it? It works doesn't it? Only has three ingredients and does the trick every time. Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Benzoin Tincture and Capsicum Tincture. ATB P.x
