Hi. I’m not sure what you mean by “twisted bowel” but I have had partial and full bowel obstructions. They came as a result of having abdominal surgery. The more surgery you have in your abdomen the higher risk you are of having bowel adhesions (I think this is from scar tissue) which can lead to partial or complete bowel obstruction. But mine is not related to my MPN. Good luck. Make sure your doctor talks to you about foods you should & shouldn’t eat. Katie

Hi Ginger, a MPN is a myeloproliferative neoplasm, a blood cancer, and there are 3 main types, essential thrombocythaemia (ET), polycythaemia vera (PV) and myelofibrosis (MF), this forum is to inform and support people who have one of these MPNs, so I think that you have very probably posted your question in the wrong forum as you don't know what a MPN is.
