Please do not be worried about seeing the MPN Specialist they are highly trained very knowledgeable you will be able to ask them anything and they will have an answer just imagine you are seeing your consultant if it re assure you why not write a list of questions you want to ask them and i am sure they will answer them

How do you get referred to an MPN Specialist, when your GP doesn't even know what an MPN is? I spoke to my wife's GP to ask to be referred now to a hematologist so she can be seen as soon as we get back from France (see previous posts) and the senior GP didn't know what an MPN or myelofibrosis was. Looks like we would be better off moving!
