MPN specialist in France?

Hi all,

I wonder if anybody else here is based in France and would be able to recommend an MPN specialis? I am followed by a hematoligist for my ET (now PV) with Jak2. I would like to find an MPN specialist for a second opinion.

One good expert in France is Dr Kiladjian, he is also friendly , I may have mis spelt his name so best google him. He is very pro interferons but in a recent chat with him he suggested I stay on Rux for my PV, he said he had some patients on long term Rux doing very well, so he is not just Interferons.

Strangely enough my oncologist/haematologist had never heard of him. I’ve kept name in abeyance in case I need a second opinion,,,, but doing well on Jakafi 20 mg with PV since Dec.

Where abouts in France do you live?

Personally my MPN specialists were in Angers - I was referred to JJ Kiladjian in Paris who wanted to do his own tests for his dossier (I was being treated with Interferon whilst waiting for a SCT (MDS-U + MF).

I also have a contact in Poitier.

Did you have to have your specialist to refer you?
