Finding a MPN specialist

I live on the Lincolnshire Nottinghamshire border and currently are under the care of a Lincs haematologist for ET. The last few appts have been Locums. Anyone in Notts area got a good Haematologist? I thought I saw a list somewhere on this site but can't find it now. It would be nice to find a MPN specialist.Thank you.

You are correct to think that it is very imp[ortant to find a MPN Specialist to treat ET. Most doctors have very little experience with MPNs. It is very important to develop a relationship with a specific MPN Specialist who can follow your case over time. Here is a list.

I travel from N Lincs to Nottingham City. There are several mpn specialists there, particularly Dr Fran Wadelin. The CNS support is outstanding. You will be amazed at the quality of care after your current providers.

Hi! I was diagnosed with ET, MPL driver in November 2021. I am under the care of the Clinical Haematology Dept. at Nottingham City. They are wonderful! Hope you can get sorted!

hi, I’m in Derbyshire, I am grateful to be invited to the MPN Voice Nottingham online support group. Maz will be able to tell you more about the Haematologist’s there. Mine has just left Derby to go to Notts City so I now find myself with a locum Haematologist too 😞

Hi I’m also under Nottingham City haematology department. Fran Waldron is brilliant and extremely knowledgeable. Also the haematology nurse specialist Angela hosts the online support group meetings together with Maz .
