High platelets count

Hi does anyone can tell me if is good to take Vit D whislt i am taking a Hydroxycarbamide chemodrugs fir my high platelets count.thank u.

My Dr prescribes me Vit D every two months....you must protect your skin from the sun taking Hydroxy.,had P

Sorry signal failed,had P V 7 yrs Hydrea 7 yrs,have to avoid blistering sunlight where we live..sure it must be safe to take Vit D.

I was perscribed calcium with vit d 2 years ago after breaking my elbow. I have had PV for the last 11 years and been taking hydroxy for the last 4 years. I specifically asked if it was ok to take both and was advised yes.

Hi, I take 2000iu of VitaminD3 daily. I do not take any meds at this time except 2-81mg aspirin.

Hi my doctor also gives me vit D because i have the start of osteoporosis and blood test shows im low in this vit .im on HU daily and clopidrel hooe this helps best wishes holly

Hi I have PV and am prescribed Hydroxy carbamide. I take several supplements including calcium and vit D. I do check all supplements with my haematologist and he said it's fine.
