How do I ever thank all you awesome friends for your caring and loving support! You all have made me feel better and not so afraid to face tomorrow. Off tomorrow to see Hematologist that I mentioned I do not like. Not many options here in Vero Beach, Florida. A journey to the Mayo Clinic may be next on my list. Colonoscopy next Monday as a preliminary test came back positive for adenoma cells. Will not know if Cancer until after Monday. Then full Cardiology workup since I have these "twinges" in my brain and some faint feelings. Life used to be fun, now a struggle.
Thank you all again for this great forum I have learned so much here. Far more than from my Drs. Your support is so comforting.
Sending love, hugs, and prayers to all.β€ππ

Harlie, best wishes with all the tests. Once they are done, they are done and that removes the worry of what it could be and you will feel better once you know and you are reassured. We are all the same - we worry about the unknown!
Keep in touch with the forum and let us know how you are getting on. Kindest regards Aime xxπΊπΊ
Once you've got all your results you'll know how you're going to move forward. Best of luck everything gets sorted and you get the right treatment quickly.
Hi Harlie, I was "off- line" for a few days because I was meeting with Dr. Verstovsek at MDAnderson. He says Dr Rami Komrojki (from Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa) and he work together on many things and he respects him a lot!! And because I'm seeing Dr Komrojki every 6 months Dr V said I don't need to return unless I want to. So please consider driving to Tampa and seeing him for your MPN. Dr Komrojki is smart, knows everything, is kind, never rushes you and his nurses are great too. It's probably around a 3 hour drive from you. I'll say a prayer that your colonoscopy goes well. MDAnderson is the top cancer place if you can afford to go. They treated my ovarian cancer. Hang in there. We are all sending you support and hugs. Katie
Oh Katie, thank you so much. I will consider heading over there. Hematologist today was actually engaging. Wants to see me in a month. HGB 14.4. No phlebotomy now as HCT is 46. He feels if we do a phlebotomy my anemia and exhaustion will worsen. Thank you and all for your good wishes for my Colonoscopy. Dreading it, but no choice.
Sending love and hugs to all. Harlie β€π

Thank you Holly. I will try not to worry but Monday is a long way off when you just want to get it over with. I really am trying to stay positive, in between pity parties. Thank you Holly and all of my wonderful, supportive PV "family". β€π
