Hi Katie I'm glad you found this forum. . You are right and it's a lovely compliment to the active forum folks who make it special. . I am totally blown away by the encouragement and support I get from the peops here, it certainly spurs me on every day.

Even though many of us have never met in person I find our forum is a safe haven where you can express your thoughts, ups, downs, and concerns and get supportive, non judgemental, and best advice from like minded without fear of ridicule or dismissive opinions. And I love our forum members all the more for that. . I hope you take what you need from it and go on to pay it forward in time. .

Hi Katie, I agree with you so much. I was worried, felt alone, couldn't sleep, my hubby didn't know how to deal with me or my diagnosis and I found this forum and a bunch of great people who don't judge but listen, support and empathise with you and my world changed from despair to relief and heaps of other emotions.

Hi Linds I have tried them but thank you for thinking of me. Nick the devil comes from my childhood - my middle name is Nicola and my elder sisters said when I was small I had a terrible temper and Nick the devil became my 'nickname'.

Hi nickthedevil, I have a lot of different joint pain and inflammation of soft tissue. I go to a hydrotherapy pool and although the water and heat annoy my itchy skin, the warmth takes away bone and muscle pain! I would love to stay in all day as I feel so good in the water as long as I ignore the itch.xx Aime😺

Thanks Chris. Sorry your gout is still giving you gip. It's easier to reach the shin than the foot but doesn't have the same effect doing it yourself. Hope your counts are improving x

True I used to get reflexology and it was great. . . My counts up a tad today so no transfusion needed. . Happy Days. . Hope your shin pain is improved. x

Chris, that's great about counts.xx Aime haven't experienced gout thank god, my burning arthritis and inflammation of soft tissue is bad enough. Hope you find something which helps. Aime x😺
