Hi Michelle I am in London otherwise would have bought you a coffee, the weather is worse where you are than here in London. we had a vague smattering of snow this am and it's very cold but not bad here.

I am surviving on my journeys to and from work by layering up clothes and wearing two pairs of socks and gloves!!! Lots of hot drinks. I must say my feet and legs ache much more in the cold. let's hope we get some sun and warm weather this summer. Hope you are doing ok Liz C x

Hi Shelly - If you consider the weather a tad harsh here you should visit my planet where it gets to --45 degrees and the snow is 15 of your feet deep. . So getting around here is easy peasy.

Like Liz I would be up 4 coffee and / or a pint or 2 of amber nectar had our geographical distance not been an issue. . . After all it's roughly 8 squillion Earth miles to my planet. .

When you do venture out push the boat out and have 2 coffees. . As you might have guessed I have been out sampling your local amber waters. . Very enjoyable but they can make you wobbly if taken to excess. .

I am in South Yorkshire and we have had quite a lot of snow, luckily my husband and I are more or less retired so we don't have to go out in the bad weather, except to take the dogs out who LOVE the snow. Everything grinds to a halt even if it's only a sprinkle of snow. We don't seem to be set up for bad weather in this country, even though we get a winter every year it comes as a surprise to the local councils!! I too am looking forward to long warm (and dry) summer!
