I found I developed blisters when I walked for any slightly extended period - was on Hydroxycarb for ET. However, it has decreased now - perhaps a year or so later my body has adapted to the medication ( I definitely link it to that).Until that happened I bought myself 'padded' walking socks for a hot climate from Rohan and trainers which have a lot of air-holes in the fabric they are made of. I walked 5 miles the other day without any blisters although I felt it would not have taken much for one to appear! Hope you solve your problem soon, Sallie

Hi

I have also got small water blisters on my toes they are really itchy and when they disappear the skin remains very raw looking and never improves. I got these water blisters before I started Hydroxycarb. Now and again I can get the odd water blister on my fingers as well. Not sure what sets them off or why. I generally burst them and they dry up.

Hope this helps.

I am also getting small blister type things on hands and feet. They have got worse during this hot spell. They are so itchy that they are driving me mad!

Any one got anything to put on that stops the itchiness ?

Hi, i get small itchy water blisters on my hands, the heat makes it worse, antihistamines do help but so does sudocrem. I do get small red areas on the feet which would go raw if not treated - perhaps they are different to the ones mentioned above - canesten once a day seems to get rid of them but I am sure you will have tried that or similar. I have PV, only on antihistamines and treated by venesection at the moment. Hope this helps. Regards Aime

Hi there, ive had these for a number of years they are like little fluid filled blisters and are really itchy. My GP refered me to a dermatologist who said its a type of exthma. Mine tend to be worse in winter as my feet are usually covered. Ive tried a variety of lotions and potions but not found anthing yet that helps much
