So here we go..that time of the year ..again..sigh...just wanted to send all you lovely strong women a big hug ... will be thinking of you all over the festive period. .

I was just thinking myself last night about how difficult Christmas can be - and I always used to love it so much!

First there's the years of presents I've had to buy...Going into toy shops full of children and getting things i thought i'd have got my own kids. Choosing dressing gowns and dresses i would have put my own kids in. Queing up in toys r us feeling dead inside.

Ive got 9 nieces/nephews to buy for and have spent a load of money i cant afford even though some or them don't spend any time with me and are totally ungrateful.

Then there's the family events - I went with some of my family to see the Christmas light switch on in our village on Sunday and it filled me with sadness. All the parents were there with their little ones, each with a mini version of themselves to enjoy the music with or hold hands or have a cuddle. Hard to be joyful!

And so it goes on. So yes, good luck all of you and remember you aren't alone in your feelings xxx

Hi annier60 what a lovely message. This can be a particularly difficult time of year but knowing that others are there for us, that we are thinking about each other and are not going through it alone can be a great comfort. Thank you so so much. A big hug right back at you too x
