So today I had a migraine aura and about two hours later I got another aura. Has anyone had multiple ones in a day, or know if this happens? I went to ER and they did a CT scan and didn't find any bleeding or anything like that. Can this happen? It's never happened to me.

Multiple Migraines in one day?
Hi Dustin, yeah I've had many migraines where I've had multiple auras in 24hrs. The migraine that comes with it totally disables me. Can't function at all on any level.
I have had three auras in one day with a migraine. But I have this happened many times. You are not alone
Hi Dustin
I too have multi ocular migraines, no real pain but like your symptoms it wipes me out.
I too have little help from neurologists as no one knows what causes these. I am about to ask for a re.referral from my GP as this is taking over my life now. I am on Zolmitriptan That does rid me of the "kaleidoscope" vision but still leaves me debilitated.
I can only hope that in the future You, me and the rest of us with find a cure

I too have had multiple migraines with aura in one day. It is very scary and debilitating. I do not know what causes it.
Have you considered you may suffer from cluster migraines? I've a friend who suffers from these and he has started using medical marihuana and finds that the attacks have been greatly reduced.
Saturday I had 9 ocular migraines in a row. I would subside, then another would come on about a half hour later. I found that when I ate something and slept, I felt better. Then last night I had another. I was tired. Rest helped considerably. They can be debilitating when you are trying to drive.
I know this is really late.. but it's happened to me a few times, usually when I've not caught it in time. So at midnight last night the aura woke me, the sparkly zig zag lines and blind spot.. the usually.. I took my meds which is 500mg Naproxen and Zomig nasal spray plus domperidone. It usually passes within 30 mins then the pain and sickness come. However I had repeated aura for the following 2 hours, must have been 10 or more. Truly horrific. I had to take another dose of my meds which I don't normally like to do as the postdrome recovery then takes longer, I think it dealt with it though and I was finally able to sleep.
Used to get migraines a lot less but they've varied over the years. I'm 41 and had them since I was 7. I wish I could pinpoint the cause, the only definite is lack of sleep but then it doesn't always happen, and stress. Neither of which were an issue last night so who knows.
I'm on magnesium, feverfew, co-enzyme etc but have been for years and they're clearly not making a difference so may wean off apart from Magnesium.
Weird thing about this migraine was the debilitating pain didn't really seem to surface too much. Just aura after aura after aura the scintillating scotomas.. urgh I hate them!
Starting on CBD oil again and I pray for some relief!
