Part of my current bout of depression is being caused by my ex husband, we have Been divorced for 10 years. I have tried 2 solicitors asking for advice but I get the feeling that because this is not likely to earn them a large sum of money they are just not interested and not called me back. But it is important to me to understand my rights as my ex is using threatening language with me and I feel completely intimidated by him he has always been a bully and very controlling. Vicky

Do you have Citizens advice bureaus in the UK?? They often have lawyers there on certain days that will give you free advice. We went along one time and they were very helpful. Good luck.
Me again. If you can google CAB Birmingham, there are about 50 Citizens advice bureaus there, So one must be near where you are. Try them and see what they have too say. And again, all the best.
