Switching benzo

Hi everyone.

I have been taking 0.5 mg clonazepam twice daily for a number of years.

My local psychiatrist in Thailand has prescribed me Tranmed 5mg (clorazepate dipottasium), which I was reluctant to take because there was a note that it appears to contain 0.25mg xanax, and I did have a bad reaction to 1mg xanax once before.

I can't find any information about tranmed containing xanax.

To cut a long story short, I am going to go cold turkey with the clonazepam, and wondering about withdrawal.

Is it safe to go cold turkey from the clonazepam, now that I have started taking tranmed?

Basically I am only changing to a different benzo.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
