Does any one else here have a form of anxiety that causes asking repetitive questions ? My son keeps asking the same thing over and over?

He probably likes answer or is confused by answer and needs it explained in different way. If that’s on his mind also worrying him. Or could be sensory and orientates him

I asked him if he wanted to come horse riding with his brother who had dyspraxia . He said he didn’t and then I told him fine we will go shopping instead now he keeps asking what we are doing on that day .If it’s not this it will be some thing else but on and on

Be gentle his understanding is forming but not formed. He is unsure of himself and everything. He has to check again and again answer is the same

If the behaviour continues, it can't hurt to talk to your son's pediatrician about it. I have a sibling who manifests anxiety that way.

It sounds like something else is going on with your son, I think it would be good for you to contact your GP and explain what's happening to your son, you should know if this is a complete change in your son's behaviour/personality it could be mental health issues that is not yet diagnosed, I have PTSD and I have repetitive thoughts and dreams which causes a lot of issues for me. I would suggest you talk to your GP on his behalf and then organise a GP appointment and attend it with him, I hope this helps you, Regards.
