Newbie here and excited to meet everyone! I have been in hiding for too long because I was ashamed and embarrassed of my own self! The conditions of ADHD and bipolar is unheard of where I came from (culturally), so I had been battling and still is all these years!
I started seeking treatment again in 2020 and although I been recently let go from my psychiatrist…I will continue to seek help. I need help and I need people who understands my mental conditions and the struggles I face daily as we all one way or another have somewhat experience similar symptoms and how we all overcome it! I believe if we all share similar experiences and how we overcame it in all areas of life then we all can live a more fulfilling life! And don’t forget that besides the harsh struggles we all faces…we also need to share our happiness whether it’s through our passions of hobbies, crafts, etc…just share share share! Encourage and motivate one another when one is down and feels like giving up in life, business, relationship, etc…
I know well too much that even the closet to us like our significant others(Spouse/BF/GF) is the one we expected the most to understand us can in fact turn out to be the main one that can damage us more wherein our conditions don’t get better! Feeling stuck in toxic relationship? Resentment from families and even your own kids? Need to vent? Why not here? Isn’t this what the whole point of a “community group “ is all about? Where we all come together to support one another and share our life experiences!
So yes! Hi I am now a new member of the group and I welcome myself here :). Please let’s be kind.
