Dizziness and anxiety

How do you guys suffering from extreme anxiety AND dizziness manage? Which meds help with anxiety dizziness? I'm practically bed-bound for years and I hate it. Tried several SSRIs, nothing helped.

Sometimes as we get older over medicating or problems with blood pressure can cause dizziness . However sometimes neck problems can be problematic so it is important you get yourself sorted out and get some GP ADVICE, especially if you feel over anxious. If you are still young this problem needs sorting, hopefully you will find out the cause and move . When I was younger and at work, when I was working on plans etc when I stood up I became dizy. When bending down in the long term this can also cause dizziness

Thank you for your answer. I did check with my GP and several specialists (ENT, neuro, cardio, thyroid), all tests came out ok, everyone keeps saying "it's all in your head". It's annoying.

Yes I feel for you especially if it is Anxiety. If they are saying all is ok I gather you may be feeling Anxious or your Anxiety is causing the problem.

Do you have any problems with your neck, sometimes if we have to break suddenly in the car a whiplash injury can cause problems however here Anxiety or bending down can cause problems

I was having problems a while ago it was put down to reducing my medications because of age or side effects are you taking any medications

I’ve struggled with the same thing, so anxious to the point you feel dizzy/ sick. I went to a mental health ward of a local hospital and they gave me a low dose of gabapentin …. It’s meant to treat nerve pain and some types of seizures but it’s the only thing that’s worked for me so far and I refuse to take benzos/ anything heavy that’s potentially addictive
