Exercise is a known treatment. Omega 3 supplements, eating super healthy, possibly medication. Yea, a thousand different treatments, you find the right one basically …it may be something of a lottery …

Make a list of all your concerns for your visit tomorrow, this will help you remember all saliet points of how your conditions effect you

Unfortunately, there is no magic bullet. It's a combination of the things Snoopy mentions above.

At my worst of be awake all night and this went on for months maybe getting an hour here and there. Got sleeping pills to help but 4 years on and at best I get 5 hours solid. I didn’t cope at all without sleep and ended up going on the sick for 6 months then had to quit my job. Now slowly rebuilding. Much love to you.

My issues started 4 years ago, started with anxiety then could not sleep at all then turned in to major depression and anxiety because I didn’t get the right treatment and or meds. My biggest problem though was no sleep. What meds are you on because some are better than others for helping sleep. Also if you still are not sleeping you need to keep banging the doctors door down telling them your issues and that you can’t work on no sleep, they will HAVE to give you something that helps you sleep. My only other advice is try to stop over thinking the sleep issues (easier said than done I know) but go to bed with the attitude of if I sleep I sleep if I don’t so what I’ll sleep when my body needs to. Don’t panic about work it’s just a job if you need time away then that’s what you’ll have to do. Got to look after you with whatever it takes. I’d sooner be on the dole with no mental health issues than earning good money and being depressed and poorly.
