I woke up feeling very drained and anxious for today. And being at college is not helping me one bit and is only making it worse. I was trying to take notes for class and my brain was like “nope, too much info we gonna shut down now” I’m trying to calm my mind by listening to music but that seems like all my brain wants to do. I also procrastinated on taking notes so that’s probably a reason for it.
I just feel like I’m lazy and want to get things done but my mind and body is constantly in a state of alert and resting at the same time.
I hope I’m not the only one that goes through this

I'm sorry to hear about your lack of energy and anxiety.
I have been here quite a few times where I woke up feeling absolutely drained as if I had just had a few rounds of boxing 🥊 bout with Mo Ali.
I was able to get outta it after speaking to my doc, they prescribed me some Fluoxetine which tool a few weeks before it kicked in, and my energy and confidence levels went up.
Being at work was overwhelming at this time, I trained my mind to look forward to spending time with people who had my back at work.
Have you got a friend or friends in college?.
Sometimes it's great to tell your friend/ friends how u feel so they have your back.
Thank you for your response it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one that experiences this.
Unfortunately, the friends that I had already graduated ahead of me. So I don’t have friends on campus to talk to.
You are not alone! This is so me! And you obviously But I dont agree with you. You're not lazy. Your system is simply out of balance, which causes a drain on your energy level and motivation.
It sounds like you may be experiencing anxiety or overstimulation. No one chooses to experience those things, so you are not at fault.
If either of these things is prresent in your life, the coping skills I would encourage my patients to use is making lists, resting when they are tired, drinking more water, re-evaluating their schedule, journalig, meditation and acupuncture.
Mostly, I just want you to know I feel for you and can totally relate ❤️
