Hello every body thought share one of my Recipes.

Slow cookers great to use if your like me suffer from mental health issues and have bad days feel not good or hungry then ask you self it is good to make something stash and freeze.

Portion up and keep just in case your hungry.

I do Soup a lot we all of us are familiar with Minestrone but there are others.

This stashed away in zip bags cost little and nutritious and cheap plus using slow cooker easy. No fuss a bit of chopping but using blenders or food processors help here.

As does ready diced products Onions I buy all the time. Passata flavoured herbs garlic or use Tins of sauce the ones Italians use on line.

I would recommend looking on line for many products that are never found in supermarkets a lot of them Italians use.

PASTA CHICKPEA SOUP.

Ingredients

One jar of Passata or carton .

With Garlic and Herbs.

Carrots, Celery, Leeks two of each roughly diced. Or use blender or food processor.

No Onions as Leeks count as Onion but add any you wish to.

Herbs use anything you wish I buy dried Italian mixes.

Use fresh Basil or Parsley.

Dried half a teaspoon often strong.

Stock cube

Tomato Puree.

Tin of Chickpeas drained.

Pasta soup ones use Tubetti I use or use broken up Spaghetti .

Wrap in a tea towel smash and have little pieces for Soup .

METHOD

Switch on slow cooker low setting to warm up.

Add Veggies diced either use food processor or use blender or just chopped .

Add stock cube to a blender or a food processor add water a touch some Tomato Puree a squirt the jar or carton Passata measure this out might not use it all.

Herbs and blitz.

Add to a bowl soup stock you have made. I do this because spillages safety and might not use all of the soup stock.

Another days soup. Ladle or spoon in.

Cover and on the low setting you have set takes around three to four hours depends on size of Slow Cooker.

Last half hour add Tin Chickpeas and Pasta Spaghetti or Tubetti no other pans needed just add.

Please I hope you enjoy this lot cheaper and easy to freeze cool down in bowls cold water sink .

In to zip or clip bags easier to store.

Hope this is helpful as it this soup is antibacterial and good for colds flu and feel run down depressed or ill not good.

Can microwave a portion for just empty when defrosted in a microwavable bowl for a few minutes.

Please any questions happy to answer.

Thank you for reading.
