We are quite social animals and our intellect is such, that we need others to make us feel good. But some(few) people are quiet and like to be alone and independent and others like managers and CEO like to do things for themselves. Relying on yourself is one thing but you could share your life with others. Thinking of your situation, you would like mind to your own and develop that but you could also enjoy the company of others. Your own way and what you like. Few people can't get on with others at work and relatives

I am one of those few people, unfortunately - it's very tough :(

You need to think about yourself, it's important to monitor your feelings and thoughts. If you think that you are losing your ability to relate to others, that is something you should try to talk over with someone who can help. It's a problem if you feel that it is negatively impacting your life.

You are right I get bored with people very easily and I don’t care about them at all

Sometimes we need to help our self first n prioritize ourselves to heal ourselves.

Otherwise we cant be much to another or even be able to truly honestly care about or care for another.

Yes there is a time where we may need to protect our interests where people become unhelpful to our future needs. Where associates become a liability to your own needs and expectations. I would make some friendships that became a problem, mistrust etc.

Iam not saying we use people however remember; We can protect against a Thief, we cannot protect ourselves from a liar. We all have to follow our own intuition

People can try and use us, Narcissists are a good example, in these cases no matter who they are family, friends or Associates, we run to the hills, we protect ourselves and those we love.

Real Friendships are as rare as hens teeth, We try and keep those, however sometimes we cut and run as the need arises

I think all people are truly selfish. It all starts with what we need, or what we want; and I think this is kind of fine (it's just the way it works).

Don't get me wrong, however - being selfish doesn't have to mean being bad, not at all. As I said, I think all people are selfish, so also those good ones.

Let me give you an example of what I mean.

If someone needs or wants to care about other people because it brings that person joy, or any other positive feelings, that person appears to be good (and actually is good) even though that person is still selfish (their interest is to get the joy in the first place).

So according to my opinion, what matters, at the end of the day, is what we need or what we want.

I wish you all have an amazing day, and be selfish :)
