Zopiclone and Sertraline

Anyone else been given Zopiclone to help with insomnia caused by Sertraline? I’m on 50mg, day 16.

Your problem with this agreement is the medication you need to take, to get to slee.p. Your GP may need to remove the drug given time as they will loose their affect. However have you tried Mindfulness, Relaxation Technique before sleep Hopefully that will help as you get more proficient in its use

I am also on the same to help with the insomnia but I try not to let myself get too dependent on it and as borderriever suggested perhaps try some other techniques and maybe gradually cut down how often you need to take the zopiclone only if it works for you.

I a on 200mg of sertraline a day and was on zopiclone for ages and was lucky to get 2 hours sleep.the only good thing about zopiclone is that it doesn't hang on you in the morning. It worked at first I got a few hours sleep , then they increased the sertraline and It was a nightmare for me no.more 2hours sleep so he changed it to another drug I can't remember the so that's my dealings with the two drugs.
