Have you tried Mindfulness, Relaxation Technique, books available on Amazon, this technique may help you sleep when in bed
Try not to eat to late in the evening, having supper earlier say 20;00 Hours is late enough, if you leave it any later your tummy will not have digested food before bed and that will distract you trying to get too sleep.
Try to relax and have time to divert your thoughts from the days activities. Diversions do help, hobbies you enjoy will help you relax. Try not watch television violent films, programs etc before bed they can make you churn and have problems sleeping
Try and give your medication a further two weeks, if you are still not happy talk to your GP.
The main problem with above is not allowing sufficient time for the medication to work can see you turning to the Doctor asking for the drug to be changed. If that happens it means you will need to come of one and going on another. So it will take a longer time period to get used to another drug. It is important you give medications the benefit of the doubt in the initial stages
