Hello Cocoon, Welcome
You have had extensive CBT, you should have been informed of various tasks that would help you pull yourself around CBT can only go so far. On most occasions, when been directed you should have the tools to help yourself. you may have problems, however it is important you know your problems and address them
Do you still take medications, and what techniques do you follow for your health conditions
BOB
I took it upon myself to start trying meditation.. that’s it...
Not sure what to do now... u have me thinking
Generally when you are given CBT your Therapist should have with your help address the problem you have. You then, or should be able to move on using techniques explained
You now should be able to approach each concern.
The way I do this is take each problem and cut it up into small bites.
With each other concern do the same thing on and on.
Now approach each small bite on its own and address that segment. You keep doing this addressing small bits until the problem is sorted. If you get stuck at any time move to the small bites of another concern and do the same thing etc. Eventually you will be able to move on, when each main problem is sorted and addressed. Do not push to hard, work on each small bite. You will be able to move on.
Sometimes problems can be quite large and complex, they can instigate changes in your life as you work through them.
This worked in my case I changed much in my life.
Use diversions, to help you like hobbies or other activities
See how you get on, nothing is easy in Life, you need to accept life with those challenges that have made you ill

I was given medication by GP and Doctors sometimes you have to tell them how down a state you are in.
To give you really helpful advice I would need to know more about why you ddin't feel it worked for you.
I am at a stage where I am having psychotherapy and wondering if I still need it. I have sort of found out that I am normal and it was my mum who was a narcissist who had the "problem".
What help did you feel you wanted and didn't get? It can all very much depend on the personality of the therapist your personality and the way they work. There are so many different therapies around. What do you feel would help you personally?
At the moment I am thinking that expanding my experiences with "normal" ie people who have not had mental health difficulities is working for me. That is not to the exclusion of others of course' but just to say that I am at that stage. We are all at different stages and need different things. Identifying what it is you need would be a good start for you and then to think about how you can go about getting those needs met. It may be just information you need or practical help or the feeling of someone who loves you. These are all things we all need.
Can you be more specific? x
