Been having a lot of angry thoughts and avoidant tendencies lately. Have been irritated and not really wanting to be around people this week. I’m mindful of it, in that I don’t want to put people in a situation where they have to deal with me right now. Waiting for this stuff to pass. Trying to channel all this rage into productivity! Going to try to read some books, breath, and be more vigilant about finding a job.
Anyways, rant over...has anyone tried out BetterHelp? I know it’s like an online thing, and I feel like it’s kind of impersonal than an in-person therapy session. I’d prefer to see someone in person, but just wanted to see if anybody has tried it, or had any thoughts on it
If you are Anxious and prefer to be away from people I would suggest in the first instance to talk to your GP, Doctor. Make a double appointment and a list of your concerns, the list will make it easier to remember all that is wrong, you will also not forget any points, or problems.
Mindfulness may help it is a Relaxation Technique, their are books on Amazon that can be purchased explaining the technique.

Hi Bob/borderriever,
I don’t have a GP since I don’t have health insurance coverage at the moment. I wish I had all that, but it’s been a waiting game for Medicaid for my situation.
Could I ask you some questions about mindfulness? How do you use it in your own life? How has it helped you or like an example? It’s hard to incorporate moments of being mindful when I’m getting upset, to just breath and just take a step back and just remember I might be overreacting, ect.
